Annual Sports Meet 2007- 08 was organised by Sushil Choudhary (MBA-10) .Spreading over 15 days and amidst a busy schedule of classes and internal tests the event saw active participation  and great zeal from both MBA-10 & MBA-11. It also worked as a stress buster for both the batches.   

The ongoing sports meet brought in participation for various events like :-

Football :  The team of MBA-11 led by Anand Pandey drubbed the team of MBA-10 '2-0', the goals were scored by Varun Raghav . Shabeer Ahmed of MBA-11 was the refree of the match.

Badminton :

(a) Boy's Singles : In the final of boy's singles Govind Ballabh Bhatt of MBA-11 defeated Pradeep Kumar of MBA-10 in a 5 game match by '3-1'.

(b) Girls Singles : In the final of girl's singles, Niharika Parimi of MBA-11 defeated Nandini Sharma of MBA-10 in a 3 game match by '2-1'.

(c) Mixed Doubles : Kuldeep Singh of MBA-10 & Nandini Sharma of MBA-10 emerged as winners against Govind Ballabh Bhatt of MBA-11 & Kavita Adhikari of MBA-11 in the straight sets of 3 game match by '2-0'.

(iii) Table Tennis :-

(a) Boy's singles : Achal Gupta of MBA-10 defeated Rohit Garg of MBA-10 in a 5 game match by '3-1'.

(b) Girl's singles : Anurakta Pradhan,MBA-11 was victorious crushing Nandini Sharma of MBA-10 in a 3 game match.

(c) Mixed Doubles : Rohit Garg of MBA-10 & Anisha Talwar of MBA-10 defeated Dinesh Yadav & Anurakta Pradhan of MBA-11in straight sets of a 5 game match '3-0'.

(iv)Athletics : This event saw multiparticipating with each participant taking part in more than one event but the fatigue was no where to be seen.

 
(a) 100 m - flat race : In boys , Ranjit Pal was the fastest runner follwed by Amit Singh & the 2nd runner up was Prakash Chand,all three from MBA-11.

(b) 100m- flat race : Amongst the girls , Pooja Patyal,MBA-11 was the winner,followed by Madhavi mohan MBA-10 as the first runner up.

(c) 200m flat race : Kunal Singh MBA-11 was the winner amongst the boys with Amit Singh,MBA-11 as the first runner up followed by Prakash Chand Rajan,MBA-11 as the 2nd runner up.

(d) 200m flat race : In girls , Madhavi Mohan MBA-10 emerged victorious.Savita Bisht was the 1st runner up.

(e) 4*100 m Relay : The team comprising of Madhavi Mohan,MBA-10 ,Parul Katoch,MBA-10,Priya Manjul,MBA-10 & Savita Bisht,MBA-11 were the winners the girls relay.


(v) Shortput (Boys) : Tribhuwan Yadav,MBA-10 was judged as the winner for the event .Prakash Chand Rajan,MBA-11 came out as the 1st runner up, Vijay Bhambhu,MBA-11 as the 2nd runner up.

(vi) Shortput(Girls) : Madhavi Mohan,MBA-10 showing her skills was victorious closely followed by Savita Bisht,MBA-11 as the 1st runner up.

(vii) Basket Ball : In the exciting and nail bitting finish of the final Basket ball match, MBA-10 defeated MBA-11 by a score of '38-27'.

(viii) Volleyball : In a sensational 3 set match,MBA-10 defeated MBA-11 by '2-1' as the final score.

At the closing ceremony of the Sports Event the  Director,Dr. K.K.Chaudhuri distributed the certificates to all the winners.
