PLACEMENT SNAPSHOTS
AIM’s placement record has been excellent over the past ten years. The institute’s graduates are sought after by the industry and they have been working successfully in different organisations throughout the country. During the year 2008, 41 companies participated in the final placement programme and 54 companies in the summer placement programme. The students have been place in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Systems. The average salary is Rs. 4.28 L/annum and highest is 6.51 L/annum. At present, many of the alumni are holding executive positions in industry within and outside the country.

A student chooses a specialisation area at the end of second semester; and undertakes industrial training in that particular field. Following is the detailed course structure of the specialisation subjects available. There are six papers in each specialisation group; each paper having 3 credits. For the choosen specialisation as Major - student has to complete all six papers and for the Minor subject - any two papers of his/her choice.
